Inverness Sport Climbing

Inverness Sport Climbs is a comprehensive, full-colour guide detailing more than 400 sport climbs across 24 crags in the Inverness area, also covering dry-tooling and deep-water soloing venues; it was written, designed and published by local climbers Jamie Skelton and Lachy Buchanan (with contributions from Callum Johnson and Jim Buchanan) and issued as a 1st edition in July 2025. 

The book features extensive drone photography (credited to Ryan Balharry), is organised geographically (the guide is split into major areas such as Loch Fleet, Strathconnon & Moy Rock, Strathnairn & the Great Glen, and Strathspey), and is produced as a compact, card-cover guide suitable for taking to the crag.
